FAQs

Q. What is the age limit?
A. There is no age limit. Students of all ages are encouraged to attend.
However, students under the age of 8 must have a parent or guardian stay
with them on campus (to supervise them outside of class).

Q. Is it possible to get a private room?
A. We are not planning on making private rooms available.

Q. Can you take more than one set of private lessons?
A. Yes, but we do not recommend it because of the classroom instruction
that will be missed due to the private lessons.

Q. What time do classes begin and end each day?
A. We begin the day with a devotional at 8am. Day classes end at 3:30pm.
Night classes begin at 6:00pm. Night group singing ends at 8:30pm.

Q. Can a person attend for just one week?
A. Yes, but we recommend that students attend both weeks if at all possible.

Q. Can a person request a roommate?
A. Yes. We have that option on the application and will try and accommodate
a student’s roommate request.

Q. Is there a dress code?
A. Yes. We are a Christian organization and require that our students dress
modestly. A copy of our rules and regulations will be sent to each student
upon their enrollment.

Q. Do you provide anything for the weekend between?
A. No. We dismiss at 3:30pm on Friday of the 1st week and students will be
allowed to check back in to the dorms on Sunday after
3:00pm.

Q. Do you provide activities during free time?
A. Yes. We have an activities director who will plan recreational activities for
the students during the afternoon free time.

Q. Can a person who has never heard of shaped notes attend?
A. Absolutely. We have classes for all levels of musical knowledge so each
student should be able to further what they already know.
